Boonty
Web3 development · Passkey & Smart ContractsIn 2024, I worked with Boonty (a Web3 cashback rewards platform) on integrating new Web3 features. I added wallets in no-code through the Passkey technology from the Cometh library: the wallet is linked to the account via this secure authentication, so both users and B2B clients can create and claim cashback rewards without ever touching a seed phrase. On-chain, I developed and integrated the smart contracts powering these features, along with the signing and security logic that goes with them. A technical topic, made as smooth as a consumer app.
Claiming a cashback reward meant creating and managing a crypto wallet (seed phrase, extension, jargon), which made non-crypto users drop off.
Web3 wallets added in no-code via Passkey technology (Cometh library): users claim rewards with no wallet to manage, and smart contracts carry the on-chain logic.
An experience as simple as a regular app, without giving up any blockchain security.
